Before I capture your story,
 let me tell you mine.

I'm Iris, a photographer, recent university graduate, avid hiker, environmental educator, and artist.
Raised on the shores of Long Island and shaped by its forests, beaches, and ever-shifting light, I’ve always found inspiration in the way nature and humanity mirror each other — beautiful, fleeting, raw.
My camera has been with me since childhood — helping me capture this beautiful world and hold onto the moments that pass too quickly. My personal and professional work often blends my two loves, the natural world, and what is human.
I studied Media/Art/Culture, along with Environmental Humanities at Stony Brook University.
When I’m not behind the lens, I guide nature tours, chartered on land and on the water. I also involve myself with local museums and historic societies, often taking roles to teach and share my love of the island. I love working with people of all ages, whether it's in an educational setting or capturing photos on a special day.
I believe it's important for art, education, and forever moments to be accessible, and I’m proud to offer thoughtful, high-quality work at accessible prices.
I hope my work speaks to you, and I would love to connect.
"Photography takes an instant out of time,
altering life by holding it still."
